Our Practice in Verona

Dr. Hunt moved to Verona, WI, in 2004 and has been practicing in the Madison area since then. Originally from Wahpeton, N.D., Dr. Hunt graduated from Valley City State University in ND with a major in chemistry and minors in math and physics. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from Pacific University Forest Grove, OR.

Dr. Hunt has experience and training in primary eye care, ocular disease, pediatrics, specialty contact lenses, and low vision. Dr. Hunt is a member of the Wisconsin Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She continues her education at seminars to stay informed about current research and technology in vision care.

She has traveled internationally to underdeveloped areas to help provide eye care and offers eye exams through the Lions Club of Verona. She is also a member of the Verona Lions Club. 

Dr. Hunt enjoys being an optometrist. She likes talking with people, learning how they use their vision daily, and helping people meet their visual needs. She especially enjoys finding contact lenses that work when patients think they may not be able to wear them.

Dr. Hunt also likes working with infants and kids. She has experience and training in diseases of the eyes and finds satisfaction in removing foreign objects from the eyes.

She lives in Verona with her husband, Jason, and daughters, Mazie and Kinley. 

Dr. Wilson has been practicing in the Madison area since 2008. She was born and raised in Waukesha.

Dr. Wilson graduated from Ripon College in Ripon, WI, in 2002 with 2 degrees: one in Spanish and the other in PsychoBiology (a combination of Psychology and Biology and how they interact). She received her doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL, in 2006, graduating with honors in both academics and clinical care.

Dr. Wilson completed internship rotations in several areas of study, including pediatrics, ocular disease, contact lenses, and low vision in Denver, CO, the Naval base at Beaufort, SC, the VA hospital in Daytona Beach, FL, and the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago. She stayed and practiced in Chicago for 2 years before moving back home to Wisconsin.

Dr. Wilson is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Wisconsin Optometric Association, and the Madison Area Optometric Society. She has also participated in international missions, traveling to under-developed areas to provide vision care to those in need. 

Dr. Wilson loves working as an optometrist because it allows her to interact with all kinds of people. She particularly likes working with contact lenses, including unusual and difficult cases, and determining the right prescription for a person’s needs. She is thoroughly trained in diagnosing and managing diseases of the eye as well as other eye conditions like binocular vision, focusing issues, and many more.

In her free time, Dr. Wilson and her husband, Tim, love to travel and spend time outdoors with their dog, Penny.

Dr. Letlebo earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology, Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She continued to Southern College of Optometry (SCO) in Memphis, Tennessee, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Optometry. Dr. Letlebo completed comprehensive clinical care internship rotations in Memphis, TN, Chandler, AZ, and North Chicago, IL.

During her time at SCO, she enjoyed holding leadership positions in several organizations, including Sports Vision, Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity (SVOSH), Lions Club, and an optometric honor society, Beta Sigma Kappa. Dr. Letlebo is passionate about volunteering and participated in 4 SVOSH 2 remote area medical (RAM) clinics, during which free eye exams, glasses, and eye care were provided to those who would not have been able to obtain care otherwise.

Dr. Letlebo is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Wisconsin Optometric Association (WOA). She’s also a provider for InfantSEE.​ After graduation, Dr. Letlebo completed a residency focusing on pediatrics and vision therapy/rehabilitation. During her residency, she gained extensive training in binocular dysfunctions and vision development.

Dr. Letlebo has directed several local school vision screenings and participated in sports vision screenings for college and professional athletes. She loves educating patients and families on the complexity of vision and its role in learning, sports, and everyday life.

In her free time, Dr. Letlebo enjoys spending time outside (biking, running, bird watching), watching the Badgers, visiting different coffee shops, and trying new activities.

A Wisconsin native, Dr. Holland was born and raised in Oshkosh. She attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for her undergraduate studies where she graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She then attended the Chicago College of Optometry at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree.

During her time in optometry school, Dr. Holland held several leadership positions on the executive board and was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa and the Gold Key Honor Society for her service while in school and graduating in the top 10% of her class.

Dr. Holland completed internship rotations in several areas of optometry, including ocular disease, vision therapy, pediatrics, and primary eye care in multiple hospital settings. She practiced in the Chicago suburbs for 3 years before moving back to Madison with her husband and children.

Dr. Holland loves working as an optometrist because it allows her to get to know each of her patients and teach them about the health of their eyes while also providing them with quality comprehensive eye care.

In her free time, Dr. Holland loves spending time with her husband and kids, baking, hiking, and cheering on the Packers and Brewers every fall and spring. 

Adam joined VVC in October of 2021. He started his optical career at Monroe Clinic in 2015 and brings 10+ years of optical and customer service to VVC. He enjoys helping patients find the perfect pair of glasses. Adam loves the challenge of repairing or making the perfect adjustment. Adam lives in Monroe. In his free time, he enjoys baking and spoiling his 2 poodles. 

Teri joined VVC in 2019. She enjoys helping with various jobs, including pre-screening for our eye doctors. She enjoys meeting all the patients and helping them with their vision needs.

When not at VVC, Teri enjoys traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. Teri has also assisted the Lion’s Club on a mission trip to Guatemala.

Evelyn joined VVC in 2022. She enjoys meeting all the patients and helping them with their vision needs. When not at VVC, Evelyn enjoys spending time with family.

Callie joined Verona Vision Care in April 2019. Callie brings 10+ years of customer service experience transition into the optical field prior to joining Verona Vision Care. Moving to the optical world was definitely the right move for Callie, as she absolutely loves it. Callie enjoys helping people pick out glasses. She wants everyone to feel confident in the glasses they wear.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children. They love to build Legos together.

Rita joined Verona Vision Care in October of 2018. Rita brings several years of medical and childcare experience to the Verona Vision Care team.

She enjoys helping with various jobs, including pre-screening for the doctors and helping patients have a positive experience with their eye care.

Outside of Verona Vision Care, Rita loves being a Grammy to her 2 granddaughters, Evie and Natalie, and grandson Noah, spending time with her friends and family. She lives on a dairy farm outside of Dodgeville with her husband.

Chelsea joined Verona Vision Care in June 2013. Chelsea began her optometric career at LensCrafters in February 2010. She worked at three different locations, starting in retail and transferring to the lab. 

Over the years, she learned how much she enjoys giving people the gift of sight. Even though she’s a “lab rat,” she enjoys helping pick out frames and lenses that fit your personality and lifestyle. She can make, adjust, and dispense your eyewear. Chelsea enjoys troubleshooting and helping people love their eyewear.

Outside of Verona Vision Care, she likes reading, spending time with her husband and 2 dogs, and going to Brewer games. 

Leslie joined Verona Vision Care in August of 2008. Leslie began her optical career working for LensCrafters in Madison in 2006. Leslie can help you with your contact lenses, dispense and adjust your eyewear, and schedule your appointment. Most of all, she loves helping patients choose the right frames and lenses for their lifestyle needs. In addition to helping patients, Leslie is also the creative mind that does all of our unique optical displays. 

Outside of work, she likes watching horror flicks and spending time at Devils Lake with her 2 boys and husband.

Prior to starting Verona Vision Care with his wife, Dr. Hunt, Jason worked at Lenscrafters part-time in order to learn the optical field. Jason earned his business management degree from the University of Phoenix.

Jason enjoys meeting and interacting with patients. In addition to managing Verona Vision Care, Jason is involved in the Verona community, serving on the Verona Lions Club, Verona Area Chamber of Commerce, and other community organizations.

When not at the office, Jason enjoys spending time with his salt-water aquarium. Jason lives in Verona with his wife and their daughters, Mazie and Kinley.

Evelyn joined Verona Vision Care in October 2024 as an optometric technician. She enjoys all aspects of the role—from pretesting and patient workups to supporting the doctors during exams—and takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit.

Outside the clinic, Evelyn loves getting lost in a good book, soaking up the outdoors, and hanging out with her family. Her sidekick? A charming cat named Sonny who keeps life interesting.

Erin first joined Verona Vision Care on a casual, part-time basis in May 2016 and became a full-time member of our team in February 2024. With experience in the optical industry dating back to 2003, she brings a wealth of knowledge and technical expertise to her role as Optical Lab Manager.

From lens edging to frame repairs, Erin ensures every pair of glasses leaving our lab meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Her deep understanding of optics and hands-on precision make her an invaluable part of our patient care team.

Outside of Verona Vision Care, Erin serves her community as an EMT, firefighter, and coroner, and she is an active member of the United States Air Force Auxiliary. Her dedication to service shines through in everything she does.

Erica joined Verona Vision Care in November 2014 and, after a brief leave, rejoined the team in November 2024. As our Optometric Technician Manager, she helps lead the tech team, supports our doctors, and ensures each patient’s visit runs smoothly from start to finish.

Fluent in Spanish, Erica plays an important role in helping us provide accessible, welcoming care to a diverse patient base. Outside the office, she enjoys making candles, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her daughter.
