I hope you have been able to stay safe and healthy! We wanted to update you as this crisis continues. During the last 6 weeks, we have been taking care of emergency patients and helping those that need contact lenses, broken glasses or other issues that we can take care of by emailing or curbside. We understand from many of you that there is a need to start taking care of urgent matters next.
The CDC has lifted the orders for no routine exams in areas that are starting to phase in to reopening. As you know, our state “stay at home” order is still effective until the end of May. In Wisconsin, state guidelines indicate we are essential services. Therefore, we feel that we can go slowly and start phasing in urgent cases.
As the next phase unfolds, we will update you of any reopening plans that we have. At this time, please notify us by phone (608) 848-5168 or email [email protected] with any urgent matters that you have. We will discuss with you how we can help with those. We continue to be in the office sporadically so please know that our responses might be more delayed than normal.
