Our Lens Materials

Your lenses can be made out of different materials, and each has different benefits.

CR-39: A plastic material that is lighter and less breakable than glass.
Polycarbonate: A thin and light material that is 10X stronger than plastic or glass.
Trivex: A strong material that is more optically pure than polycarbonate and has built-in UV protection and scratch resistance.
High-index: Our thinnest and lightest material.

Lens Types & Coatings

Take your lens game to the next level with specialty lens coatings and types specifically designed to combat lens issues like blue light damage, glare, sunlight, and overworked eyes.

Anti-Reflective

An anti-reflective lens coatingcan also be beneficial for nighttime driving, as it can reduce the glare from headlights. Anti-reflective coatings on lenses can also help significantly reduce glare and improve clarity, making them easier on the eyes and helping enhance your visual experience when viewing screens.

Blue Light

A blue light-blocking lens coating deflects the damaging effects of blue light that can be omitted from our screens. Blue light can potentially damage the eye with long exposure.

In addition, blue light-blocking lens coatings can make viewing screens more comfortable when looking at them for long periods of time.

Photochromic

Photochromic lenses are considered intelligent lenses because they can seamlessly adapt to the light condition of any environment you step into. The lens will darken to create a sunglasses effect if there is a high amount of light and will return to a clear lens indoors.

Anti-Fatigue

Our eyes can become fatigued and overworked due to digital eye strain. Anti-fatigue lenses have a bit more prescription power towards the bottom of the lens to let the eyes relax a bit when doing up-close tasks.
